Leslie Bulford

Leslie Bulford began his career in retail, managing the first-class lounge for British Airways. Customer service has always been a passion of Leslie’s meeting and greeting people. Leslie believes it’s a cornerstone in good customer service in every business. Leslie moved onto retail management at Hamilton Pharmacy for 11 years. After which, Leslie took a position at the Bermuda Diabetes Association as front-end reception.

Leslie has been a type 1 since the age of 17, so for Leslie, it has been a lifelong journey in managing his diabetes. Leslie feels a connection to our customers that venture into our resource centre, knowing that he has first-hand knowledge and emphasizes with people that has diabetes.

Leslie’s position here is more than retail supervisor. Leslie’s first-hand knowledge of what managing diabetes can become and should be. Leslie feels privileged to work in an environment that enhances the quality of life for people with diabetes on the island.
