Prior to joining the Bermuda Diabetes Foundation, Lori led the Government, Infrastructure and Healthcare practice for the KPMG Islands Group (comprised of 14 island jurisdictions). Lori has over 30 years of experience in public policy, infrastructure finance and consulting with a track record of leading complex and transformative projects to successful completion.
Lori has been an active volunteer, board member and advisor to not-for-profit organizations including Catalyst – Empowering the Most Vulnerable, Kaleidoscope Arts Foundation, Bermuda International Film Festival, Women’s Resource Centre, SPCA, Sexual Assault Centre of Edmonton, and Cummings Zuill Scholarship.
Lori earned an MBA jointly from the Universities of Toronto and St. Gallen (Switzerland). Her professional credentials include Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and PRINCE 2 Project Management.
Lori’s interests include seeing the world by bicycle, sipping red wine (preferably not while cycling), cooking for friends, reading thrillers, live comedy, and she is an unabashed fan of felines.
